The first full week of October is starting strong with a dozen new releases. Tomorrow sees several titles hitting VOD, including the comedy ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES: ORGANIC INTELLIGENCE, Korean zombie flick COLONY, supernatural sequel INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER, and action thriller ONSLAUGHT. A day later, VAMPIRE CARNIVAL hits limited theaters.

Meanwhile, REBIRTH OF THE LIVING DEAD, the indie sequel to the original Return of the Living Dead novel, is reportedly landing on DVD Thursday, though I’m seeing conflicting reports on that release. Friday brings a slew of additional titles, including the supernatural movie OTHER MOMMY in theaters, R.L. STINE'S PUMPKINHEAD 2 on Tubi, and the annual anthology V/H/S/MIXTAPE on Shudder. Check below for everything notable coming our way this week.

NOTE: This is not a comprehensive list (there's simply too much to keep track of), but it is a list of the more notable movies to look out for. If you spot an error or if a movie is missing from the list, contact me. Also, these are US release dates, so they may differ if you're in another country and dates are subject to change.
