The Blair Witch Project
The Blair Witch Project is a classic American horror story. Released in 1999, The Blair Witch Project is a documentary-style film that focuses on the journey of 3 students on their way to uncovering the truth behind a local myth. Each of the 3 students record their narrative on the Blair Witch using cameras to tell their tales.
All 3 of the students disappear without a trace while documenting the Blair Witch. A year after the 3 students have been reported to have gone missing, video footage from their cameras is recovered. Many secrets about the Blair Witch are told from the perspective of eager students, hoping to find answers for missing children from their town.
Most of the movie takes place in a quiet town called Burkittsville, Maryland. The 3 students attempt to camp in a forest outside the city while filming the documentary. From grotesque sightings like demonic symbols to human remains, you won’t be amused by the students and their findings.
Gamers can relate to the first person perspective of The Blair Witch Project. The camera angles should remind gamers of timeless video game titles such as Doom and Quake that were available to play around the time of the release of the horror movie. You won’t be afraid of camping in corners to wait for your opponents for kills in games like VALORANT and Apex Legends once you’ve seen The Blair Witch Project by yourself.
The horror movie made $1.5 million from the opening weekend. Footage from the cameras may seem to be shaky, demanding the attention of the audience between shots. Gamers who thrive on fear can use their gaming headphones for a real treat, giving you a familiar feeling of playing with a squad online in horror games. You can also play the Blair Witch video game for more thrills during special occasions like Halloween.
Fright Night
Fright Night is a supernatural horror film about vampires. Charley Brewster, a 17-year-old teenager is a regular viewer of the late night horror show called Fright Night that airs in the movie. The observant teenager notices that a vampire named Jerry Dandrige has moved into the house next door. Charley starts to question Jerry and his activities in his neighborhood before being threatened by Jerry to stop.
Jerry fights Charley and leaves after being stabbed. Charley seeks the help of Peter Vincent, a vampire hunter from his favorite TV show Fright Night, in order to prevent Jerry from harming other people in his town. Jerry has a number of supernatural abilities like stealth, charm, and being able to turn people around him into a vampire. He also manages to convert Charley’s close friend into a vampire, making it difficult for Charley to end the wrath of Jerry.
Vampires are known to exist in various video games. Gamers can watch Fright Night to be motivated to play a vampire in exciting action games for a mysterious adventure. People who enjoyed watching Fright Night can purchase Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong and Van Helsing to develop new abilities that look cool on screen. Enemies in survival games are harder to predict than Blackjack dealers in casinos. Fright Night has several scenes from Las Vegas for gamers who like gambling in video games. Don’t bet on weapons with low ammunition in your arsenal to become the last player standing in a battle arena.
Drag Me to Hell
Drag Me to Hell was a blockbuster film that defined horror movies in the late 2000s. Alison Lohman stars in the movie as Christine Brown, a bank officer who provides loans to people in Pasadena, Los Angeles. Sylvia Ganush approaches Christine at the bank to request for an extension of her mortgage. Christine Brown denies Sylvia the request, leading Sylvia to attack Christine in the parking lot.
Sylvia places a curse on Christine by ripping a button on her coat. Christine tries to find Sylvia and reverse the curse, only to find that Sylvia has passed away. In an attempt to break the curse, Christine consults Rham Jas, a fortune teller who reveals that an evil spirit is haunting Christine. She eventually discovers that the evil entity haunting Christine is known as the Lamia.
Christine and her boyfriend, Clayton, played by Justin Long, meet with a spiritual medium to banish the Lamia from their lives. The spiritual medium hosts a séance to rid the Lamia, requiring a sacrifice to complete the spell. Fortunately, the Lamia is sealed away after the séance. However, Christine remains to be freed from her curse, despite having the Lamia banished.
The choices that Christine has to make in the movie Drag Me to Hell can inspire gamers to take up horror games with meaningful storylines. Survival games like The Last of Us will test players with harder decisions based on their quests to trigger better endings. Unlike the horror film, Drag Me to Hell, you won’t have the chance of receiving a loan to renew supplies to survive longer during missions.
